I picked up another 9.9 Evinrude today and it came with a 1955 5.5 Johnson outboard. Got kind of interested in the old 5.5 so I thought I would tinker on that a bit and found it had good compression and spark and the new style fuel line with pump was already put on it!! I will get it running. Anyway, the guy threw in a old prop he thought might be for that 5.5 but I can see its not as its to big and looks to go on another way. Does anyone have a idea what a 2 blade brass prop - Michigan AJC 518 with a threaded nose cone would be for? The antique outboard site is down so thought I would try here.
