Can someone point me in the direction of the Link/sync procedure on a 96 Evinrude 25?

I have the PDf of the manual from above but Im having a hard time figuring out if its in there or if it is some closely guarded secret.

Is there VooDoo involved?

Do I have to sacrifice a chicken?
 
Usually listed in OMC Service Manuals Section 1 to follow the Tune Up instructions, as Synchronization & Linkage Adjustments. Do you have the piston stop tool?

The PDFs are also searchable, by pressing 'Crtl' and 'F' keys at the same time.

One verifies the timing pointer, throttle plate synchronization, cam follower pickup, throttle cam, WOT stop and idle timing. Order can change depending on model.

What is the piston stop needed for?

I didn’t see any mention of it.
