Has anyone used the gas tanks made by Scepter? I bought one and it leaks like a sieve.

I had a 3 gallon scepter portable on my previous boat. Never had an issue.
I assume yours is leaking around the fittings.

yes, did you use sealant on the NPT threads?

If it is leaking at the threaded connection put a hose clamp or a suitable reinforcement around the plastic female fitting..if there is room. I put a little load on the clamp before tightening the male fitting. I have also used a pex crimp as a reinforcement.
