New to the area. Would like to check availability OR start small lake, small outboard, small boat club.
No cutthroats, no Roland Martin wannabes. A few Saturday or Sunday mornings, afternoons, maybe one evening.
Yeah, I'm old. Can you tell? I do enjoy a little competition but GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP FIRST!

There is an elderly gentleman (almost my age, LOL) that advertises
on C/L for the same . . . he even goes on to say that if you don't have
a boat and have friends, he will take his pontoon boat out for crappie fishing.
Just for the companionship - no charge, he is not a "guide".
Requirements: over 50, love to fish, know HOW to fish, have your own tackle, quiet by nature,
keep what you catch to eat or release. Keep no more than 10 fish....... no alcohol or tobacco.
it runs maybe a couple of times a month.

I fished Lake Marion at Santee State Park many years ago and loved it.
Hope you do well in your new area.

Let me start by saying that I don't have very many Saturday/Sundays free but I just wanted to drop a line to a fellow South Carolinian. I'm from Darlington and when we do get a weekend free we take the pontoon to Lake Robinson almost exclusively. Other than that I'm in the jon boat on ponds around the are.
