Good day all!

When I turn on my battery, the voltage meter reads 12.2. Then with my LED’s and LED bar turn on, it drops to 11.2.

Just curious if that’s normal.

Thanks!

Well your battery is only 50% charged, so I would say all bets are off until you find out if that battery is good or not. It doesn’t charge any higher than 12.4, the plates have sulfated. A good charged battery should be 12.7 or higher.

Agree. My voltmeter reads over 13v for a full charge.

Well crap!

I bought this thing several months ago and it's been in the back of the boat while I'm testing the wiring. Is it safe to assume that I should fully charge it and see what the voltage reads?

Thanks so much!!!
