Looking for an older 6hp, and it can just be the engine itself. I am looking for something with decent, even compression, that I can either use as a donor engine (for one of my three parts motors!) or to be the donee. Basically the plan is to wind up with one well functioning motor. Not looking to spend a lot...

Not sure where you are located but I have one for sale. It is a 6 HP 1979 Johnson I just spruced up a bit. Asking $325. Starts and runs well.
