Those are no longer sold, but Honda makes something you can use - Honda Water Mouth Kit, part no. 06190-881-860. Sometimes you need a little dish washing detergent as ‘lube’ to help slide the pieces together.

Make SURE you get it lined up and can verify the OB is picking/sucking up the water!

Sure, just keep at idle, to higher idle max. Your source water pressure here is what is really cleaning out the OB. For an effective flush you need to get it warm enough for the t-stat to open, which may not happen on this device, nor muffs for that matter.

That said, 95% of my boating is in saltwater, for 50+ years now ... and I've yet to flush an OB motor after a day or even a season of saltwater use ...
