Friends,

My current restoration project will be powered with a PAIR of circa 1960 OMC 40HP outboards, so I'm looking for a serviceable FOUR-lever shifter box.

IF any of you have such a part (or know of one for sale) that is USABLE, please PM me with photo & requested price.

yours, tex

DaleH,

YES, I've seen those control boxes & thought them over-priced.

I thereafter consulted a person, who is widely accepted as an expert in antique OMC components, a professional museum curator from MD, a longtime AOMCI member & Tomas V____________ stated that: "A fair market retail price for those shift boxes is NO more than 125 dollars & more likely 90-100 dollars."

THANKS, tex
