I recently was fishing Ozello, FL and was loading up when a Guide came in with his client. I walked down to see how he'd done and he announced that they'd caught a couple of 20 pound Reds. Naturally they were over slot so photos were taken and the fish released. After viewing the photos, I asked what they were caught on. A Paul Dinkum Shrimp. A what? It's made by Unfair Lures and sells for under $10.00. It has its own swivel attached so you tie directly to it. A floating model and sinking model are available in various weights and colors. The guide gave a demonstration and dang if it didn't look like a shrimp swimming through the water backward.
I've since purchased three but haven't had the chance to use them yet. The weather is not cooperating, it just does not want to warm up. Anyway here is the information for this lure: https://www.unfairlures.com/pauls-dinkum-shrimp.html .

Sounds perfect, my tournament partner and I really struggle near or inshore (homosassa & chas) but, we kill them off shore 30-50 mi. Thanks for the tip! Jerry :)
