The original aluminum boat site!

Lowrance Elite-7 Ti

August 9, 2018 by jim Leave a Comment

This is it, I think I have narrowed down my decision and I will be buying the Lowrance Elite-7 Ti for the dash of my boat. I was going back and forth between this and the Hook-7 but after a little convincing from the Tinboats members (it didn’t take much) they convinced me the right thing to do was save up the additional $75-$100 and get better features and functionality.

I have decided to go with the Med-High Skimmer after speaking with a friend. I also reached out to Lowrance for some clarification so I am waiting to hear back from them. In the meantime check out this Youtube video. Is this too much effort?

I will be scouring the net for tutorials to learn how to use this. To be honest I don’t want to spend my whole day playing with this. I would love to just set it for the most part and use it. Is that even possible?

Key Features

Available in 5-, 7-, 9- and 12-inch screen sizes (I’m going with the 7 for the Dash)
Easy-to-use, high-resolution touchscreen display
StructureScan® HD ready with TotalScan™ and HDI transducer
SmartSteer™ control for Xi5 Trolling Motor (12, 9, 7 models only)
Integrated wireless and Bluetooth® connectivity
NMEA 2000® engine support (excludes Elite-5 Ti)

Do any of you have this series of fishfinder?  I would love to get your experience with it. Send me a message on the forum or reply back here and I will reach out offline. I’m saving my pennies and hoping I can have Santa bring me this unit by Christmas. I’m sure by then there will be a new model out and this will never be realized.
