First Look: Lund 2075 Pro V Bass

May 27, 2019 by jim Leave a Comment

I went to a local boat show to check out the new Lund 2075 Pro V Bass. To be honest, that’s the only reason I went. I knew Hank’s Marine was rigging one up for a local Pro-staffer and that it would be at the show. Right up front let me tell you that the Lund 2075 Pro V Bass is the ultimate aluminum bass boat.

In my opinion, all other aluminum bass boats should use this boat for comparison. There are some options on this boat that are not factory, but these options make me want the boat even more. I might actually add these to my Ranger. Let’s get down to the details.

The noteworthy specs of the boat are as follows. The boat itself is 20’10” in length. The 2075 has a 96″ wide beam. The maximum Horsepower rating for this beast is 250 HP. And the fuel tank has a chest-pain causing 49-gallon capacity. This boat isn’t for everyone.  The full specs can be seen below. Or, better yet, head on over the Lund Website and have a look at the 2075 Pro V Bass yourself.Lund 2075 Pro V Bass Specs
I did notice one discrepancy. The specifications shown above (Literally taken from the Lund website) show a Max Rod storage Length of 9′.  The Lund brochure says the center rod storage compartment will hold up to five 10-foot rods. I’m not worried about it, my biggest rod is an 8-foot swimbait rod. I’m good there.

Once I got to the show, I headed right over to the Hank’s Marine section and I spotted the 2075 right away. This boat is an aircraft carrier. How this boat is rated for only 4 people is beyond me.

What are your thoughts on Spare Tire placement?

This particular Lund 2075 Pro V Bass is fitted with a 250 HP Mercury Pro XS which is the Max allowed for this model boat. I want it.

Below you will see the size of the front and rear decks. These decks are massive, and the storage underneath them rivals that of the best and biggest glass boats out there. I would not be surprised if there is more storage in the Lund.

Lund 2075 Pro V Bass Passenger Console

I am usually not a fan of passenger consoles as I feel they take up too much space. On this boat, however, being that it’s the Titanic, there is plenty of room for it. The little step you see in between the consoles holds a perfectly small cooler for your drinks.

Lund boats are the real deal. I will seriously consider a Lund Pro V Bass for my next boat.
