i added a casting platform and and a higher platform for the tm. The boat now rides really low in the bow. any of you guys have any suggestions on how to make the bow ride a little higher
i would keep using your spinning rod for your plastics because you lose sensitivity on a baitcasting rod and use the baitcaster for your spinnerbaits and topwater stuff. and that is a great deal but i would try to get the best reel you can get and not worry about the quality of the baitcasting...
i got the xs1000,2 c400s, and the denny bauer flip and pitch. all for free. wondering if any of you guys have had these and what size and kind of line worked best for you
already fixed up trailer and i got the motor working well. so here are my plans for the boat. I am making everything i put in easily removable. (how do you guys make those colored boat blueprints on here?)
1. make floors
2. make front casting platform and put butt seat on to it.
3. make livewell...
i would like to see if any of you have an extra or are getting rid of any bow mount trolling motors 40lb thrust and over. also if you see any good deals on craigslist or ebay let me know. thanks in advance for any response.
i have 3/4 in. cabinet type plywood that i put over the front two bench seats for my platform. there is about a 3 foot gap between the benches. do i need to put a frame or some kind of bracing to support that? thanks in advance
