    That's what I was thinking. Also it doesn't help the holes are a little large and the metal wasn't sitting clean and flush. It was just a practice run. Thank you for your answer

    its 44" wide. i took it out on the water. its sketchy as ****, thought the back trasnsom was gonna split in half. in the boats defense the wood on the transom needs to be replaced. ive decided im not gonna deck this boat out just make it a projct and learn with it
