Width is also a biggie. The wider boat will tend to be more stable.

Are there any issues running in cold weather? We duck hunt, often in single digit temps. Does this system self-drain so tubing, filters etc. don't freeze while we're out there?

Some have an 'air box' that seems to have no filtration in it. Don't know why they would bother. Maybe it might act as a backfire containment or deflection ???
