    Redecking a Bass Tracker

One of the final details to repair on the old Tracker was the livewell feed tubes were leaking at the hull. I took the old girl to Luke Bartlett of BART Custom Boats up by Sparland IL. Luke did a great job welding the livewell tubes where they leaked. Hope all the leaks are fixed now!

    Redecking a Bass Tracker

Lol. Rednecking requires much more duct tape and flexseal. Maybe bolting down the old recliner on the front deck that was on the porch with the cooler in the armrest. Or mounting that deer head to the bow. Now you’re giving me all kinds of ideas! 😄

    Redecking a Bass Tracker

Well, it’s been a minute since being on here. Last spring the Tracker got a 24v troller and a different fish finder. Actually got it out three times, and caught a few nice bass each time. The livewell fill tubes are leaking at the hull, and I’m not confident enough to try to weld those myself...

    Aluminum flooring

I used 1/8” plate to redeck with for two reasons. That’s the plate I had, and I knew it wouldn’t rot back out. Worked out really well. Also, 1/8” plate aluminum weighs the same per square foot as 5/8”plywood.

    Jack plate

That looks top notch Sparky! Good work.

    Tracker Seadoo Jet Jon Build

Now you got me thinking about finding a 99 Seadoo and beater Jon to converge. That actually looks like a fun project and more fun boat!

    2001 Sugar Sand Tango

Hey everybody. Been a member of the tinboat forum for a couple years, since I was asked to rebuild a Bass Tracker for my folks. Last fall I bought my 2001 Sugar Sand Tango with a blown 210 hp Merc Sport Jet. Bought it super cheap and only exceeded my budget by $300. That’s what I paid for the...

are you Locked down? lets see your projects...

Mike what town are you in? Were you close to where the tornado hit? I checked up with all my kin after the tornado that took out a bunch of Jonesboro. One of my cousins lost his truck while working at the post office, but they’re all okay. Still all have their homes, too. I’m originally from the...

are you Locked down? lets see your projects...

Stacked a great big pile of firewood into racks that had been in a pile for five years! Also built a raised bed garden.

    State of Illinois

I have a few trailers myself. When you work and play off of trailers $100 per trailer increase is a lot. I’m thinking about putting a pintle hitch on the boat trailer with a slow moving vehicle sign on it. Think I’ll run the idea past my buddy who’s a county deputy first. :)

    81 Bass Tracker Restoration, Rehab!

Hey Jinxd! I did the same thing you’re doing now two years ago for my folks. 81 Tracker II. I used aluminum plate instead of wood, added a rear deck, made the front deck a little higher and bigger. I had to replace all the foam due to mouse damage while in storage. My build is on this page...

    Redecking a Bass Tracker

Hey! Well, we took it out a couple times finally last year. Mom enjoyed it. Didn’t catch anything but had fun anyway. It’s been close to two years now. Wow what a difference in history. Our state ran lakes are closed, our local favorite lake was restocked last year after a drain down. Not the...
