    Need help identifying boat info

If you haven't looked yet, check out the Wagemaker Woverine website. They also have a FB page. If I had to guess, your boat was made in the 50's, and no.... It wasn't from the auto maker; although many of the models (and logo) were quite similar to the land boat versions.

Help with painting aluminum boat please

You'll want an etching primer for any of the bare aluminum. If you have paint that is stuck good, there isn't a reason to take it off. Just scuff it and paint over it. Any of the marine paints should work, and many people use Rustoleum a lower cost option with a closed cell foam roller. As with...

    Buying a 1976 14" Starcraft, saltwater...?

I'd probably be cautious with the fresh paint (just me); however, having the owner take you for a test run on a nearby body of water would let you know (A) how the motor runs (B) if the boat has any leaks and allow you to have a bit more time looking the boat over while you're in it.

Question for you southern impound fishermen

Better for you they keep swearing it off then... :LOL2: I would rather throw a 3/4 or 1oz spinnerbait over a deep diving crankbait any day. Wind is a bonus, and blade separation is key to being able to crawl it along and have the blades still turn. I've never tried it, but I've studied up on...

    Electrical needs

Lots of different solutions within many of the builds on here. If you haven't gone through many of them, I would suggest doing so. I went the route of just ordering switches and had a member here make a plate to mount them on. Try running a search for "electrical panel" and see if you get some...

Question for you southern impound fishermen

LMB fishing - I'd head straight to the creek due north on the map starting with areas around that 20' hump at the mouth with the graph looking for signs of life. And then every area that has a mix of shallow water with deep water nearby. Ledges would be my theme. My go to search baits in cold...

    Mounting foot pedal of TM

The only reason I would fix mine to the deck is if I used a recessed tray. I stand and fish, and after having used a recessed pedal on a friend's boat for a day, I noticed it made quite a difference on keeping my back in check. Next build for me will include the recessed tray.
