    Huntinfool's 1860 Tracker

I ended up getting a new starter and so far that seems to have fixed all my problems. Got a hog hunt in 2 weeks, so I'll know more then. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    98 Force starting trouble

Well, so far the new starter is still working like a champ. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the saltwater I'm fishing? I don't ever lift my cowling and clean my motor. I don't know how it would get in there....but I'm sure it does. Salt seems to get into everything. So far, so...

    98 Force starting trouble

Starters are cheap for my motor. I bought a new one to see if that would help. So far it fires right up. I've kept the old one and I'll look into rebuilding it one day. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    98 Force starting trouble

Windings shorted would allow them to work perfect at initial start up, but then bog down shortly thereafter? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Hopefully someone might have some advice. It's been raining all day, so I was not able to run the voltage test. Supposed to rain most of this week. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Replaced all cables ( larger wire and new eyelets) and all connections are tight. Replaced the the solenoid and wire from the solenoid to the starter. The ground wire on the solenoid was melted ( probably from when I was stranded ) so that was replaced with a slightly larger wire. The starter...

    98 Force starting trouble

I've got a 98 90hp Force motor. I got stranded about 15 miles from the boat ramp. I tried to start the motor and it acted like the battery was dead. I tried both of my trolling motor batteries and it still wouldn't start. After several hours and a borrowed battery that initially failed. I got...

Put a new motor in the jet John and she ran up to 30 mph. Took my boat out today and caught some fish. I am starting to have a problem.ive got a new battery in my boat, but when I try and start it, it's turns over fast for 3-5 seconds and then acts like the battery is dead. I've cleaned all...

    Jet john

We bolted our pod in with 5200. Used it to seal all of the remaining areas too. The leaks we had appear to be areas where the 5200 wasn't applied at all or not thick enough. We actually didn't have any leaks around the pod, just at all the other points. She should be ready for another test...

No sir, I'll be bringing my boat. Here are a few more pics. He cut the boat in half and welded in an additional 22" of aluminum. That was the width of the pod he.put in with to motor on it. Don't know if any of these will help. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Huntinfool's 1860 Tracker

So my dad decided he wanted to try and build a boat with a jet ski motor in it. Here's what he ended up with. We took it out for a maiden voyage and she didn't do so well. First we have some leaks. Second the carbs seem to bog down the motor ( not enough fuel) and need to be adjusted...

Well, I guess hunting was the right decision. Not the biggest, but good enough. It'll eat real good. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
