I think I found the solution. My trailer's tongue is removable (take out 2 bolts and it drops to the ground). I called the metal supply and got an identical piece that is 4 feet longer. Going to bolt a coupler on the end and have them drill the holes to mount it underneath the trailer just like...

With all the rain we got in North Texas this weekend the creek level is rising. Carp were piling up on eachother trying to swim upstream into a field. Not much of a challenge but I couldn't resist sticking the big one of the bunch.

Everything's bigger down here, especially the gar. I've heard a bunch of stories of monsters that live in the Trinity River. Anyone know any good spots to try? Most boat ramps around here seem to charge a fee to use, which is a new thing for me. I went to a 4 wheeler park in Trophy Club today...

Unfortunately I moved out of Missouri and sold my boat. Now I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and looking to buy back in. Been checking boat listings and fishing spots around here. If anyone knows some good places to try I'd appreciate some direction.

I just moved to Arkansas for a job with a timber company. Wondered if anyone knew some good areas to check out for some carp. I'm a little north of Little Rock and planning on getting a little jon boat for the summer. I live right next to the Arkansas River and have seen a few creeks around...

Not much out today. Got a carp and a snake someone put a tent stake through and stuck to the bank, gonna make a nice belt.

the west coast is wacky!

Needed a place to put my beer so I found this old sign and started working. I cut the sign with my grinder and bolted everything together. I plan to brush all the paint off and sand it smooth. More pictures tomorrow.

I found a shovel handle on the bank of the river last summer. Its perfect for finishing off fish.

Made it to the river today for the first time of the season. I fished a creek for a couple hours and saw some schooling carp, but they were pretty small. Few more weeks til the rest show up.

Finally got one! It's the ugliest, smallest deer I've ever seen. Just kidding...it's a possum. Double lung shot from 30 yards though...
