I think it would for me. I have a 1448(hull weight 285) that does great with a 15 merc. But some folks would want a 75hp on it. Just depends on who you are. I think it would plane ok.

i see in your signature your 25 is a bigfoot. I think they have a bigger slower prop so you want get the rpm's and speed of the reg. 25 merc. I may be wrong though. Just thought id mention it so you could check.
I just bought a new 1448 just like yours only have a 15 merc ( tiller ). My total investment with troller and battery is $3600. With your 25 bigfoot and console 4800 t0 4900 should be spot on.
