I have a Humminbird Piranha 5, would like to know if a Humminbird XNT 9-20-T Single/Dual Beam Transducer Helix Matrix Piranha will work correctly with a Hummingbird Piranha 5? The connector is the same and some told me as long as the fish finder operated on the same frequencies it would work...

Sorry I didn’t word it better but it only boggs down a couple of seconds then right back up. Happens about every three minutes as long as I am running steady. Does sound like a fuel restriction to me also. I will check filters and fuel lines and see what’s up. Thanks for you response.

1989 Johnson Tracker 40hp seems to bog down at 5K rpm 23 ish mph around three minute intervals then picks back up in three seconds or so. Does not do this maxed out throttle or at low throttle. Any help would by greatly appreciated.
