Short of moving the depth finder and/or the location of the Maxxum foot control, I'm not sure what else would help. I see trolling motor cable organizer sleeves being sold, if something like that would help...

The plastic floor/deck drain in the console area of my 2000 Lowe 170 bass boat broke/cracked. I removed it for the replacement I got and am amazed that there is no visible drain tube or opening for water to run into the bilge. I just have a four inch wide opening that is about 3 inches deep down...

Nice looking dual console ride. Doesn't look from the photos that you can put it in the water anytime soon to test, or maybe even run the outboard with earmuffs and hose, which would be my first concern. If you look at some of the carpeting threads/posts, I don't think you'll find anyone...

Nice ride! I've really enjoyed my '00 Lowe 170 with 70hp Johnny. I'll be interested in any rod locker improvement comments, too. I just strap my 7 footers on the deck and go, but being able to store them would be cool.

As I was reminded in a previous post/thread asking about touch up paint, dings give a boat character, etc... I'm rationalizing along those lines and leaving my Lowe as is... :)

I've had this new to me 2000 OMC/Lowe trailer and tinner bass boat since 4/2011. The attached photos, although not the best, show a slightly bent bunk support bracket, and a more concerning couple of bends/dings in the front trailer frame "arm" holding both bunk brackets. I really didn't...
