spewing fuel out the pump, or out the gasket the pump sits on? either way it needs a replcement. if the boss mounting screws are loose, it will suck air and stall.

sounds like a fuel restriction to me. when were the carbs last serviced? post compression #'s as well. I rebuild about 6-8 of these a year, and more than half have the bottom cylinder scored. not saying thats your issue, but worth mentioning. running it for 3 full minutes repeatedly like that...
