Where did you get those pieces that connect your transom to your gunwhale? They seem to be white plastic triangles?

But to be sure, the plastic wont have any issues with an aluminum boat? I just bought the ones from bass pro. The set was 22 dollars. Figured it was worth it for me to not have to look for material, measure, and cut said material.

So i have a 12ft aluminum riveted mod V Hull. I have older carpet on the bunks now and it’s starting to wear down a bit. Should I replace it with bunk slicks from bass pro or go with carpet again? Which is better. Pros/Cons.

It’s raining today so I probably won’t do much. How nasty is that paint? I was considering using a roller and doing it outdoors. Was the Fasco 2000 easy to apply?

I have a 1987 Sears Jon Im going to use some of that aluma hawk paint myself. What sprayer did you use? I figured I could roll it but sprayer would be easiest. Also would that epoxy work in as well?

Word around the campfire is u need to remove the restrict plate and change the computer. According to Tohatsu themselves that’s it. They weren’t even really reluctant to tell me. They said it did void the warranty and that the EPA wouldn’t be happy but that it was relatively easy to do.

So i currently own a tohatsu 9.9 and want to get a little more firepower out of it. Ive heard that the 9.9,the 15 and the 20 are basically the exact same engine with different ECU's and a restrictive plate on the smaller two. Has anyone ever done this swap or heard of this? Thanks in advance.
