i have a 14ft starcraft just recently took the wife, 2 sons (age 7,5) and daughter (5 yes twins) out and we had a nice little ride the little sat middle bench wife sat bow seat and i drove tiller. steady cruise around 19mph and no balance issue its certainly doable and enjoyable as well

quite the opposite boat would wheelie with just me in it even with the fuel tank pushed FWD i couldnt get it nose down at all. the hydrofoils probably wouldve done it but everything came the same time and i just installed all at once and went with it

do the cav plates come from factory predrilled or not? mine has 4 holes on it that look concentric but there was no foil when i got the motor, grabbed an SE200($80) from bass pro and the holes are not aligned. so i snagged a 2 piece foil from Rural king (shoreland marine $27) and i can drill it...
First run in the 14 starcraft. Solo was WAYY bow high def need to figure that out. With the wife managed 12mph max with here farthest seat fwd after i moved gas to the middle bench. Glass calm water very low current if any. Steady same speed up and downstream. Suggestions? 2003 merc 9.9hp 4stroke.
