    12' Rich-Line vee mods update

Ancient depth finder. $5. Still works.

    12' Rich-Line vee mods update

I had some leftover deck boards and thought the two could let me move forward a little bit when operating the trolling motor. But that didn't work so I put the rear seat back in. Now I use them as a spot to keep stuff while fishing, like pliers, bait, etc. The other side has the flasher mounted...

    12' Rich-Line vee mods update

More updates from a short fishing trip this week. I pull this boat with a 2013 Kia Soul. Had it up to 60 mph on the highway and it pulled just fine. The floor has shop floor mats on it as does the middle seat. Added the swivel seat at the rear and moved the trolling motor off to the side. The...

1965 Richline....New here and new to working on boats

Welcome, and nice boat. I have a 12 ft Rich-Line and posted some pics a while ago. Mine is very old school/ minimalist setup. I like fishing the way my grandpa did, so no frills here. The only luxury I have is an old flasher. Anyway, interested to see your progress.

    12' Rich-Line vee mods update

Here are some pics. Did a camo paint job on it and added some wood to the interior. Picked up a flasher at a yard sale and made a transducer mount for over the side. Hope to try that out in a couple of days. It's a decent boat to fish in and I'm keeping it like grandpa used to fish. Nothing...

    Charging batteries

I always charged my batteries the night before fishing. Now I have a box with a meter, so I may just let it go until the meter says to charge. I'd like to run the battery way down the first couple of times. Don't know if that is a good thing or just an old wives tail. But that is what I do. YMMV.

    Rich line M15

My Rich Line 12 has a single plug in the bottom. First time I have ever see one. It's on the starboard side. Every other tin boat I have owned has had the transom plug. If it was 8" in dia, I might be tempted to fish through it...

    RichLine Corner Caps

BTW, I like your boat. It is really cool!

    RichLine Corner Caps

Answers: 1. Does your inner transom follow up and under the corner cap so that the bolts through the corner caps go through the wood? Yes. 2. Also, did you use 3/4" wood on both the inner and outer transom boards? Yes 3. I notice you did not put any metal across the top of the transom, was this...

    RichLine Corner Caps

There is no gap on mine. Here are the pics.

    RichLine Corner Caps

I have the same boat in a 12 footer. I'll take a couple of pics tonight when I get home and post them. I was just looking at that same area this weekend since I just reattached the transom wood. Finished cutting off bolts on Sunday. Mine have 2 holes for bolts that pass through the inner...

    12' Eldo-Craft V-hull restoration

Sea Trial Results: I liked Boat 2 better. That's the 1978 Rich Line boat from the other thread. Just more comfortable to fish from. Both boats were pulled very nicely by the Kia Soul. No problems whatsoever. So the Eldo-Craft will be going up for sale this weekend, and if I don't sell it this...
