The rumor that Lowrance is about to introduce a new trolling motor in 2019 is spreading around the internet like wildfire. Lowrance has a teaser video out on YouTube, but besides this 20-second video, there is nothing but speculation. Check back on Lowrance’s Youtube channel for a new announcement on March 15, 2019.

So there you have it, that’s all the information I could find. So the question to be asked is, will this be new and revolutionary for Lowrance, or is this just a new feature on a new model Motorguide? I need an inside scoop and a connection to a Lowrance resource. I will speak for the average Joe and say what we want is something revolutionary and affordable but also simple and user-friendly. Most of us just want to get out and fish and not have to deal with programming fancy electronics out on the water. Lowrance are you listening?

If you come across any new info on the new Lowrance trolling motor, please post it in the forum. Normally, announcements like this are leaked all over the place, but this time the release has been kept under the wraps. I did read somewhere that this will officially be introduced at ICAST in 2019. My plan is to attend ICAST this year. I will get the scoop on this and all the new products coming out this year.
