Brought this home last night. Was told it’s a Montgomery Ward but nothing matches and can’t find any type of ID on the boat. Boat is 14’ 5” thoughts?

Construction appears typical of a Lone Star boat, but I've only been staring at lone star literature for three days trying to figure out what my boat is. My guess is that you've got a Lone Star King Commander, or something that started life as a King Commander.

Yeah, I’ve figured the Lone Star part yet. You seem close with the King Commander but still a little off. The bench brackets are different.

Both Commander and King Commander features there, it appears. And yet neither had that dash.
Very cool boat.
For what it's worth, Montgomery Wards/Sea King, Sears/Elgin, Western Auto/Wizard, etc didn't actually make anything. They used vendor contracts and private label badges. So both Montgomery Wards AND Lone Star could both be accurate.

Looks quite a bit like my Alumacraft.
