I began looking for a boat on Fb and had a friend reach out. He had an old boat laying in his driveway that had been collecting algae and grass clippings and what not. After a quick look over I accepted the task and here is my current progress. I quickly began looking for motors to pair up with it and found a 1971 9.8hp for $300 and got to talking to the owner and made a trade ended up shelling out $150 and rifle tripod. The motor ran when i picked it up but became a hassle when i took it home and had flooding issues. Today I picked up a 1962 Sea King 14ft with a 2003 9.9hp electric start for $750 bucks. Sold my buddy the 9.8hp motor for $150 and he took it home and got it working rather quickly. My buddy is buying the Seaking ($300) and pairing it up with the old 9.8hp. The 2003 motor purrs and i wont complain at getting it for a steal. I believe we both made out on this deal. Anyways here are some pics of the journey so far.

picked up some epoxy resin and had benches cut today on my way to work. im goin to fit the benches then use them to mount angle on and assist in reenforcing my mounts/deck

Look at you go! What year is this OB. There's more than 300 if you had to part it out. Even if it doesn't work you'll make money. Good deal. I hope it runs well and drives that tin boat you have there.

its a 2003 electric start and it runs like a top. was offered 1400 b4 i even had it home.

Didnt have much time before work today but i cut some runners for the benches. Still plan to deck the front portion of the boat but i will be using them to help with framing and whatnot. the kids enjoyed the progress though. still gotta figure out/ mod the trailer to better fit the boat or attempt to trade it for one that is more suited to the Vhull. really wanted to get the interior paint finished the past two days just didnt have the time i wanted for it.

Also got new table for my portaband
Suicyderider - I have a 12' 19060's SeaKing. Just like this one. Been working on the floor (From middle seat toward transom only). I like your raised floor in the rear. Looks like a great place for a live well. Do you have any more "finished" pictures??
