Quabbin Reservoir Fishing

April 13, 2020 by jim 2 Comments

If you love fishing, then you need to add Quabbin Reservoir Fishing to your bucket list. Back in the day, we fished Quabbin from boats that we could rent, fun times for sure. My goal is to get back out there with someone who knows what they are doing, and maybe then I can catch some decent fish. If you decide you want to get out to the Quabbin reservoir, click the link above to get all the information you need.

Renting a boat is the easiest way to get on the water, as bringing your own boat comes with a laundry list of requirements that are probably not worth it for 1-2 visits per year.

Below is a great YouTube video from TLHookUp which sums up his season, and also shows you the potential of fishing the Quabbin Reservoir. Do me a favor and watch the video and subscribe to the  TLHookUp channel as well.

Lastly, I want to thank you for visiting TinBoats.net. If you rock an aluminum boat (or even if you don’t), you should consider joining the free forum. We would love to hear about your fishing adventures in our fishing reports section.

I fished Quabbin in the rental boats back in the 1970’s with my grammpa. We caught many a laker. In fact his hunting was submerged when the lake filled!

I am itching to get out there at least once this summer.
