Have you had a chance to get it in the water yet to see if your front deck is level when you’re floating?

That looks great and thanks for the pics! In my boat the front deck is not level - slopes down towards back (see my bad drawing 1st page). Is yours that way? It looks like you matched the deck to the slope of the front deck? Are the seat pedestals going to be attached to just the decking...

Yea - it’s a Bass fishing thing. And I might resemble that comment about needing the extra foot……

One reason I want the elevated deck is for storage underneath. How do you think the material would work if you made cut outs and used removed material as hatches like you would with ply?

Lots of advantages to being higher up when bass fishing (see the way bass boats are designed), in addition for me the advantage is storage space under the deck.

Have not had time to start and still undecided….. Still haven’t found anyone that has done this make/model boat, and haven’t received much advice. Let me know if you have better luck!

I finally received the service manual I had ordered. It’s amazing how simple things are when you read the instructions. Step 1 - verify/adjust throttle linkage. Step 2 - with motor running turn Idle adjustment screw to set idle - note works best if done with the motor in the water.

2006 Mercury 15hp 4 stroke. Installed a new carburetor in the motor starts and runs great. The only issue is the idle is way too high. How do I adjust the idle on that model motor? Thanks
