    Yes. Glue is a must. If anything, I hope it will last a couple years out in the weather. Its cheap enough to replace every couple years.

    Adelmo, that stuff seems to be holding up pretty good after a couple of months under the hot texas sun. It does get a tad hot though, but not scalding hot like painted aluminum....

    Its not 24 lbs like the website states. More like 10 lbs a roll. Pretty light if you ask me. I just glued it down to my existing aluminum floors and decks.

    Quick update. I picked up the cowling and midsection from my mechanic today. Next step. Prep for primer and paint while the powerhead is being rebuilt. Slowly but surely.

    Yes. Buy a minn kota. A great investment. Will save batteries in the long run, thus saving money over time.

    Well. I just got back from the steel supply and brought home a sheet of 11 gauge 5051 for the front deck, console riser, and float pods. Also managed to lay the first coat of primer inside the boat. Now to design float pods and start laying out...
