18 hp Evinrude. Bad exhaust gasket & bent strg bracket. So while disassembled, good time to paint. Set up a mini paint booth in the garage with exhaust fan. The hood will have to wait until spring, so I can paint it outside. Now I have to remember where all those screws go!

Got my new-2-me 47 YO 18 hp Evinrude running better. I had it fast idling in barrel today, thermostat hsg got to about 90 deg F. Ran it for more than 15 minutes. Does this seem normal or should it get hotter even without load?
