    Welded hull - big dents between ribs

    Replacing Cracked Ribs with Flat Bar

    Possible? bad idea? I have a riveted boat with a slightly rounded hull where these ribs are attached. The ribs have cracked in a few places and need replacing. Possible to remove, replace with some wide (4"?) 1/8" flat bar and bolt or rivet back up? Any reason why I should have new ribs...

    Cracked, rotten transom repair

    First post here. Thanks for the help! I have an old riveted aluminum hull with a rotted, cracking transom. I've seen lots of threads on this, but my transom is a little different and the corner braces are at a diagonal to the horizon. How would y'all fix it? I think I have a couple options...
