I’ve been integrating our new beast for the past few weeks. Progress is being made but sleep is marginal.

How many of you enjoy a "Beater Boat?"

You don't want it to look like a junker, but I'm not the kind of guy to keep his sneakers looking shoebox new. I play the game so mud, muck and dings are a part of it.

I've done some dumb stuff in my day but... FL man in 12' Jon Boat 30m out

CNN story that I am comfortable laughing at because he survived. I love the part of having to ditch the motor and loosing his "safety gear".

    Studebaker No. 1 Found

Agreed that she should be reunited with the family (I like how you roll) but look at those lines. Do yourself a favor and photograph everything. Every detail that stands out from a design and construction perspective that the manufacturing industry got away from in order to save time and money...

    Confessions of a Total Doofus

I second the practice and reverse comments. If you do it right, you shouldn’t have to make a quick grab for or fend off the dock; you will just be paused there within arms reach. For practicing, find a buoy, tree or rock away from the dock that you can slide up to each time you are out. More...

Got it, sorry about that. My mistake for jumping on your word choice. To your point, facts and words available on this sad story are few.

    Tenn. school shooting

I’m not sure how significant being a humanoid biped is to the story, but potentially being transgender would be. What I see as common in all mass shooter stories are very disturbed individuals acting out a feeling of empowerment with guns. Though the weapon is not the problem, it certainly...

Bow Deck Rubbing on hull - slight detent created

If the foredeck is just resting on the tapering hull and the edges are as thin as they look, I am not surprised by the wear and deformation of the hull. Match what was done on the battery shelf, including the gap, and you should be in good shape.

    12foot project. The NX-1236

I find the brevity of your prose invigorating. Have you considered a career in motivational speaking? Oh, nice work on the metal stuff too.
