    Excess spray in rear seat

1969 sea nymph, 14' kicks a lot of spray when there is any wind soaking the driver at mid+ speeds. Have any of you had this issue and what did you do to fix it

Most Seaworthy 14 Ft Aluminum Boat all models all years

My 1969 sea nymph would not qualify. Spray rails do not protect the driver at speed on winds, transpme design is not good for keeping stray waves from washing over and it isn't terribly stable (tippy) .

    Is fuel line too long?

This has me wondering if it could be a solution for lack of high speed response on my 87 johnson 15hp. Certainly worth considering.

    Mods for a dog

I have a 14' Sea Nymph without mods and am thinking about taking my dog out fishing with me. I've been wondering if any of you have done any specific mods for your dogs, to make it safe and comfortable for them. If you have please share them.

How many of you like night fishing?

I fish lake Java’s at nights several times during the typical year. It is always fascinating watching the progression from plankton, minnows, small fish then bigger ones. The symphonic dance is much like a tight flock of birds flying. It is always a treat and generally I catch several. I use an...

    Garboard drain plug

I was able to run a pipe up from the bottom and finally work it through the floor by turning it back and forth. I think I had a situation where use of the rubber plug had deposited rubber into the threads and until it was all cleaned out the pipe wouldn't thread all the way. Anyway, once through...

    Garboard drain plug

The vintage plug looks like what it needs if I can just figure how to get it to thread from the top. The setup requires that it seal above the floor.

    Garboard drain plug

I've a 1969 sea nymph with the old screw in drain plug in the floor. I've been using one of the expandable rubber plugs but it always leaks a little and I'd love to find something that would work to screw in like the original. My trial and error research leads me to believe this is a 1" pipe...

    1969 Merc 7.5 Shifting issues

Appreciate all replies. Have decided to table this issue for the time being. After refreshing the newer Johnson I picked up I believe I will tackle the lower unit to see how the linkage might have been installed backwards.

    1969 Merc 7.5 Shifting issues

It’s been this way for some time and I just got my hands on a slightly 87 newer Johnson 15 so my interest has been diverted for now. It is puzzling though and I would like to resolve it eventually.
