    Will this work?

    I got a line on a 20HP Chrysler motor - thing is, my F-9 is a short transom (15") and this is a mid-shaft motor (17") Will that work or is even that extra 2" a bit much? Need answer quick...he's not gonna hold it long.

    1972 Alumacraft F-9 Lake Master

    Purchased this last month. Since then I've been working on refurbishing the trailer. Seller even had the original brochure. Once I finish with the trailer, the whole thing goes into the garage as a winter project. Front deck, rear and side storage, rod locker, livewell...the works.
