Nice boat! I really like little boats with hoods. I have a 1974 Lund R14 that is in the process of a restoration, except that is now on hold because of a home/land purchase, that is in need of its own restoration.

I just put two 2" strips of 1/8" aluminum with the holes for a swivel countsunk on the bench facing side, using counter sink bolts mounted the swivel onto them and used 10/24 bolts on the edge of the bull nose.

It's simple to make/use a puller, check all wiring, possible new wires defective? They are great little motors.

Nice work, I did something similar to that on my little rig, except I forward mounted battery there. I mounted a pedestal where the original bench was. Used some scrap channel from work, the channel is 6061 aluminum used for portable tow bars for 65 million $ Gulfstream airplanes.

Nice project, I redid a little 14ft Alumacraft last year, now a 74 Lund r14. On the Ubolts on your axle, looks to be only 1 ubolt per side. Not sure it looks right?
