How many of you enjoy a decent stereo in a boat?

My boat is just a small aluminum fishing boat. No parties or towing and such going on. Generally I have a hard time finding anyone to go with me anyway. If I do want some music it will be BT headphones from my phone. I don't mind others having music or whatever as long as it isn't blasting...

How many of you enjoy a decent stereo in a boat?

I have one of these for use when needed, but not on the boat. Got it new long ago for $70 on Amazon. Works excellent for a decade old product. https://www.amazon.com/Sony-SRSX55-BLK-Powerful-Bluetooth/dp/B00TTWZHBW?th=1

How many of you enjoy a decent stereo in a boat?

My boat is only for fishing and will never pull anything. Rarely will see more than 2 people at a time.

    Towing with Smaller SUV

I had a buddy in HS that had a car with that engine. Couldn't kill it if you tried. Nothing special about it other than it always ran.

    Towing with Smaller SUV

I have no space for a trailer and the HOA wouldn't like it either. I always have an extra car or truck (usually a truck) on hand for jobs and extra vehicle when needed for guests and kids and other emergencies. Insurance is only a couple hundred a year as a second vehicle and if it is older than...

    Replacing soaked poured in foam

My foam is up under the seats and doesn't touch the floor, keeping it from getting water logged from sitting in standing water. I believe the previous owner kept it garaged and I keep it covered with a heavy duty tarp with pvc supports. Seems to be working well for me so far.

How many of you enjoy a decent stereo in a boat?

It is hard to be on the water just as the sun comes up. I have to get up extra early for the drive and launching and getting into position somewhere and getting comfortable. I generally pause for 10 or 15 minutes to watch the sun rise, then get to fishing. Usually takes a 3am start time or fish...

How many of you enjoy a decent stereo in a boat?

No radios on my boat. I go out to enjoy the peace and quiet and solitude, while fishing. Early morning at sunrise is blissful!

    Fuel connections

In my younger days outboards I remember had removable fuel connections on the engine and/or tank. Currently mine are fixed in place and not removable. Can this be converted to the kind you can at least remove to run the fuel out when done with the boat for the day? 2002 Mercury 25hp pull start.

Going after two free boats and motors?

Texas. Title for the engine and title for the boat and trailer registration from the DMV. Dead in the water here without them.

'75 Evinrude 9.9 Thrust Mount Repair

Exactly! On jobs like this I tend to over do it replacing most items along the way. Although it is usually faster the second and third time once you get used to it. ;)

    1996 Spectrum 18' Sport - Am I crazy?

The flood flippers like to use this method too when they can. Always leery of a title originating from one of these states.

    Battery Boxes OR Trays?

Back in the late 60's my dad did the same thing at one of our stops going up the Alaska highway.

Don't throw any more money in that hole in the water then you have to.

That is what I wanted too. Good setup and not too much to deal with and little cash invested. Light enough to handle on my own but still get to the places I want. The Texas sun hopefully won't have as much affect on it either.
