was told this carb is a 35hp off a 85 Johnson/evinrude. it has a tag with a number and hp and 21 CI, number on the bottom half and top half. also the throat measures an inch and three eighths across. did a search on all 3 numbers and nothing????[[

I have a 1980 J25RCSA (Johnson 25 hp) that had electric start added on. do I just need the rectifier and the terminal block to complete the charging system? and if so what wires need connected to the terminal and rectifier?

how does a 1980 25hp johnson(j25rcsa) have the same clutch dog as a 06 10hp (j10rlsdc)???? ive heard johnsons have very well built and strong gearcases but they cant be the same part, 325263 is the # on the part. also im wanting to buy one but keep thinking the part# is a mistake. any help?

1980 johnson 25hp rope/electric start. new water pump kit,fuel pump, driveshaft bearings and seals, gearcase seals, plugs/wires, carb kit. starts on first try 95% of the time. 2 owners(me and grandpa) and was serviced every two yrs exept lower lube every winter.[attachment=0]
