What kind of wood do I need to use to replace transom on my 14’ Jon boat? Also do I need to treat it with something to keep it from rotting? And is there a type of wood that will last that requires no treatment?

I've got a 14' long, 36" wide Jon boat and just got a 2006 5hp Nissan 4 stroke outboard to push it. With my gps I got a top speed of 12 mph going up river. Was very impressed with this kind of speed. The mtr comes with a 3 blade prop. (Not sure of the pitch). Would a 2 blade give more speed...

Just got a Nissan 5hp 4 stroke outboard and the manual says to use 10w-30 oil. Does that mean to only use 10w-30 4 cycle oil or can I use regular 10w-30 automotive oil? Thanks!!!

Wife and I had to take our 14 yr old to the ER last night. She ended up having a very bad urinary track infection. They gave her an anti-biotic shot and a RX for anti-biotic. She seems to be doing better but please keep her in your prayers. Thank you so much.

Checked my trail cam after I moved to a different property about 2 weeks before and had 112 pics on it!!!! The 3 pics with the big doe on it were in most of the pics. I named her "Nickie" because of the big nick in one of her ears. The small doe in the other pics showed up a couple of times.

Nothing impressive but I thought I'd share them with you all. Will be moving this trail cam to another location tomorrow and I installed the infared module on this trail cam. Don't know if this will spook the deer less than the flash.
