I have 2 pairs of Berkley 6-rod holders that are fine except the foam. I have looked and looked and cannot find any replacement foam inserts for rod holders. Has anyone replaced theirs? What did you do and how did you do it> Thanx rrawhide :)

I have just acquired a 20' lowe olympic jon boat with a Johnson jet drive motor. The steering does not work. The steering wheel does not turn so it seems to be frozen. I disconnected steering cable at motor and motor turns freely. Disconnected cable at wheel and the wheel turns freely...

I have a quandry - Just bought a 20' Lowe Jon Boat and it has a Johnson Sea Horse 40 engine according to the cowling decal. However, the model number shows J60TLCRE which translates to a 60 hp. Just wondering if cowling can be changed from other units? I am assuming that this is a 60hp...
