i see in your signature your 25 is a bigfoot. I think they have a bigger slower prop so you want get the rpm's and speed of the reg. 25 merc. I may be wrong though. Just thought id mention it so you could check.

I just bought a new 1448 just like yours only have a 15 merc ( tiller ). My total investment with troller and battery is $3600. With your 25 bigfoot and console 4800 t0 4900 should be spot on.

Floats much higher in the water than the 1434 and amazing how much more stable it is. Even I can walk around in it with no problem. I mostly fish with one of my grandchildren (5 to 19 years old) and feel they are much safer in this boat. Never take more than one at a time though.lol

Pleasent surprise thursday when I took my new 1448 to the lake. I took my 15hp off my 1434 tin and put it on the new 1448 that weighs more than twice as much. I don't know about everyone else but when I see anything on craigslist that seems really really high I don't even give it any consideration. I just continue looking elsewhere.
