I was cutting up a cutting board to get a transducer mounting plate for the transom. That lead to jbwelding together a cutting board to fit in the oar lock hole thingie. It is self draining. No more shad guts in the bottom of the boat.

Is the max hp rating driven by weight òf the motor or possible torque/pressure on the transom? A new 15 hp is probably going to weight more than a 1950s 15hp. What would a 1954 15hp motor weigh? My 1954 feathercraft is supposedly 15hp max. No data plate.

Anyone have any experience with the Ironwood Pacific trailer slides? My buddy said they they are slicker than owl poop. Too slick for his bay boat. Said not to unhook the crank till you are in the water kind of slick. Pics of boat, trailer and the info on the slides.
