Well my mom gave me an old boat so now i would like to get it going. I have an idea and some what of a direction but i k ow i will have alot of questions on the way so i hope yall will be able to lend me some knowledge.

I dont know much about it other than its old it leaks and its my headache now lol.
This is a pic of the faded out emblem does any one know who made it?

Another question is upon inspection of the leaking seam i found some old cocking is that original or was that from one of the previous owners. I cut some out with a razor as you can see it just left a gap. Should i cut it all out and if so whats the best way to remove it and what should i put in its place? I purchased some goop coat it for the inside but i dont know what i should do for the outside.

Thanks for the help and i know i will have more questions along the way. Ill post some pics let me know if im just wasting my time

It’s a Starcraft that needs hospice.

The goop in the seam can be cut out and cleaned up with a wire wheel, then resealed with 5200.

I would have checked it for leaks before starting in on the cocking to get a feel of how much work this will need.

Lol yeah i figured it was a turd. I did put it in the water the only place it leaked was in the back on the bottom seam and a small spot where i pulled out the cocking. I will give the 5200 a try before i get to deep. Thanks for replying
