Is that first photo a mini tank? It does not look as large as the 2nd tank.

Is that first photo a mini tank? It does not look as large as the 2nd tank.
Armor and weapon caliber vs weight was a problem for German tank designers. Many models were produced starting in the late 30's that were okay for lightly defended areas and blitzkrieg tactics, but were moving targets for heavily defended positions and anti-tank guns. As in the photo, turrent size didn't equate to chassis size. Many armament types were on top of smaller and larger chasses and many were discontinued due to combinations of too little or too much armor vs firepower.

In any case, what camera took those shots? Was a flash used?
