Looks like ABYC has passed the standard for lithium batteries.

Some full sized NEW BOAT companies have VOIDED WARRANTIES. If Lithium batteries are installed as the main batteries. Too many fires and failures. Some companies want no part of LITHIUM in general with their new boats.

These new studies and ABYB standards will change all this when using only Lifepo4 batteries!! I have been shopping for insurance for everything, auto, home, boat and other toys. Insurance companies are starting to ask questions in regards to lithium batteries in the home, auto, or in my toys......times are a changin......
