Big ol Patch

Hi, I have a 1989 16' Starcraft I need to redo a patch on. My thought was to use 3M 5200 or G/Flex, aluminum sheet on outside and inside, as well as solid rivets.

My question is which sealant would be better in this scenario? If I need to, I will use 3M 5200, G/flex, jb weld, and some duct tape if needed. I just want to fish. <3

Just for context, this is the bow of the boat where the bow meets the floor.

I don't know the answer but it is an interesting problem (I know, one you would rather not have). Whatever solution you decide on, I hope you will post the repair process with pics.
