Can anyone help me identify the model of this boat that I just bought. The title says it is a 1961 Lonestar. Most of the Lonestars that I see are open bow. This one has an aluminum edge that you can mount rod holders, etc. to.

Also, I need to investigate further, but the boat has holes in the bottom that are apparently there on purpose, but currently take on a substantial amount of water that is then pumped out by a jerry-rigged bilge pump. Any thoughts? I need to take pictures of the underside of the hole and post later.

The boat has a 48 hp Johnson that, according to the serial number, is a 1988 vintage. Runs, but a little rough right now.

New to the forum, and this is my very first post, so go easy on me! :D

Center console (actually to one side) could definitely be a later modification. It’s kind of junky, but then again, everything else inside is as well. I guess that’s what you get for $700. 🤪

Nice price. Not that big a rehab to get it fully functional and let you play a lot before you commit to a multi-million dollar rehab. =D> =D>
