20201112_144111.thumb.jpg.68dd609586910a2354f2951d3a18fc7a.jpgI believe I want to box in the rear of the boat. I think meant to go to where the flat part of the aluminum floor starts. Are there any + or - thoughts on this? I keep the batteries and box with the life preserbpvers , etc back there. Any suggestions?

Simplest would be heavy aluminum 'L' angles affixed to the side walls and maybe transom, with a seat of MDO across the span. Might likely need a vertical support in the middle too. Being open, meaning no vertical bulkhead on the forward end, would allow adequate & FAST access to the preservers and venting of the battery compartment.
