Cupping a prop

Adjustable up/down, fixed as far as tilt.


Im making it from raw materials so realistically I can make it however I need, but after some deliberation I decided to go simple.

Its about half way done and sitting on my bench at work.

Ill have a 3" setback but I need to do the math on the height before cutting any holes/slots for the adjustment to finish it.

I'd like to see it when you're done. So is it going to be a manual or power unit? I've been playing with the idea of making a power one for my boat for the motor using a trim motor from a 60 hp Mercury I have. It will take lots of heavy aluminum stock for mine since it will be for a 40 hp Mercury.

Just manual.

Once I get the height right I wont have a need to adjust it unless I start getting crazy with props.
